i am always on the lookout for new music, so i hope this list inspires you. many of the songs will make you feel as though you want to slit your wrists, which is just how i like my music - sad, sad, sad.

I don't know any of them. Surprise, surprise. I was going to listen to them until you said they were sad. I was always a country fan until recently it was brought to my attention that they are mostly sad songs. I've changed my music to up beat songs only. Puts me in a much better mood. Enough of the sad stuff. I'm only listening to country once in a while now. Can't totally gve it up.
well not ALL of them are sad!
if you want upbeat, i would suggest Ladysmith Black Mombazo, a group from South Africa that is rather uplifting. i think, although i am not positive, that they were influential in the anti-apartheid movement.
i've always wondered about ladysmith black mombazo...i'll have to try them out one of these days.
